Karjalainen debuted in Formula Atlantic in 2008 after becoming vice-champion in the Formula Asia Pacific championship in 2007. Karjalainen’s rookie season wasn’t spectacular in any way but perhaps with a second season being familiar with both the tracks and the Atlantics car we might be able to see his potential in 2009.
