With a 2009 Formula 1 seat out of reach the question about where Ayrton Senna’s nephew Bruno Senna would end up in 2009 has been on the minds of many during the pre-season. Staying in GP2 would be a dangerous move as he would definitely have to win it this year to not damage his reputation. The DTM rumours started floating around earlier this year and now there’s for sure some fuel on that flame as Bruno Senna has been testing for Mercedes at Hockenheim.

No deal has yet been made, but I doubt Senna and Mercedes are doing a two day test just for fun.

And a Mercedes connection surely can’t hurt Bruno’s potential Formula 1 future. Hamilton and Senna in McLaren 2010?
