The A1GP event at Mexico City scheduled for the 15th of March has been moved back a week to March 20-22. The reason? Radiohead were playing on the circuit! Well, not really on the actual circuit itself, but in a baseball stadium located at the track.
Pete da Silva, CEO for A1GP, commented, “It is unfortunate we have had to move back A1GP Mexico City by one week, but this is necessary because of a clashing event at the track that incorporates a baseball stadium that doubles up as a concert venue. We are delighted it is still possible to race in Mexico City as this has always proved to be a popular and exciting race weekend for our fans.”
Why not give the Radiohead fans free tickets to A1GP instead and have one mega event?! Listen to Thom Yorke one day and Ferrari V8′s the next? Life could be a hell of a lot worse.
