I embrace the return of slicks to Formula 1 and the prospect of more overtaking sounds promising. But the new 2009 F1 cars are absolutely hideous! It’s going to take a long time to get used to them. The wide front wings in combination with the tiny rear wings makes it look all wrong.

I know it’s about going around a track as fast as possible and that there’s no judges points for looking good, but perhaps there should be?

Bernie is talking about medals instead of points. I propose that you keep the points system (but with 12 points for the winner) and give out a medal to the team with the best looking car.
